Had to eat at this place when I was in town visiting family, because I’m a big fan of Restaurant Impossible. We got a great table overlooking the river and bridge, which was beautiful. Our server, Jill, was very friendly and helpful. Made us feel tight at home. We shared some appetizers. The pork belly lollipops alone made it worth the trip. Great flavor, crispy outside, juicy inside, practically melt in your mouth. The Italian bread bowl was also delicious, warm and soft with wonderfully seasoned marinara for dipping. My entree was Dayboat Scallops, which was super tasty. Scallops had beautiful sear, and were still fork tender. Just what I want from a scallop. The ravioli was also tender, and the sage and brown butter sauce was just the right complement. I’ve made a similar sauce at home, and this was wonderful. Beautiful dish. The only reason I couldn’t give five stars to atmosphere is because we had a few flies hovering around our table. But everything else, the food and the service, were beyond muster. Chef Robert would be proud to know they’re still nailing it. Will definitely come back next time I’m in state for a visit.
Great food, friendly staff, lovely scenery. Parking was plentiful but there was a little bit of a walk. We sat outside for lunch which had good seating and great views. The two of us shared three appetizers (ahi tuna bites, street corn nites, and mezza plate) and a caesar salad with anchovies which were all delicious. We also had two drinks each and split a piece of cake for dessert. I don't mind paying for delicious food and excellent service and even though this restaurant had both I still felt that the $160 bill was steep for two.
The food was super refreshing after eating the same food around this area. The salads were amazing and fresh, the chicken buffalo fingers were spot on. Our waitress was welcoming and super friendly. Recommend!
Walked in and was seated immediately at a beautiful table, overlooking the covered bridge in the river. My wife had a seafood medley that she said was fantastic. I had a Reuben sandwich which was pretty good. The french fries were delicious! Our server, Alyssa, did a great job, and was very friendly and helpful. We are planning a trip to this area for Christmas and will certainly eat here several times when we are in town.
